Chris Wiltshire

Senior Consultant

Biography

Prior to specialising in dispute resolution, Chris worked as a Quantity Surveyor for two of the UK’s largest main contractors on a range of construction projects across a variety of sectors, including Education, Leisure Facilities, Residential, Retail and Office developments.

Before joining Tudor Rose, Chris gained significant experience for a large multi-disciplinary consultancy, providing advice both internally and externally on commercial matters and dispute resolution. This has enabled Chris to obtain a broad experience in the effective management and resolution of risks affecting construction projects. His roles saw Chris undertaking detailed forensic analysis of a variety of sources of information, to understand and particularise contractual and factual matrices. In turn, this allowed him to to both advance and defend against claims for both time and money for clients.

Chris has practical working knowledge of the various standard forms of contract. As well as experience in preparing documentation as part of adjudication proceedings, he has experience in the management and settlement of construction disputes, throughout the whole lifecycle of projects, from procurement to the final account process. He is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has successfully completed the RICS Diploma in Adjudication.

In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with family and friends, walks with the dog and planning the next trip away.
