A chartered quantity surveyor with experience in international projects and the construction disputes arena.
Key Accountabilities:
Minimum of 10 years’ non-contentious construction experience.
Minimum of 20 years’ overall experience.
Must have an eagerness to maintain and develop their own contact database and undertake marketing collaboratively.
To be located in the UK with the ability to travel to respond to international matters.
The applicant will have received previous expert instructions regarding High Court or International Arbitration proceedings.
Experienced in the preparation of CPR 35 compliant submissions in response to timetable directions.
Having given oral evidence in the above is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work on multiple commissions concurrently.
Able to manage others and provide clear directions to those who provide a supporting role.
Experience in building a support team and providing mentoring and training to those individuals.
Sound knowledge of various standard forms of construction contract (JCT and NEC essential).
Recognised expert witness training, such as Bond Solon or similar, is advantageous.
