Candace Scott

Candace brings more than a decade of construction experience and a wealth of practice and knowledge. A Chartered Quantity Surveyor, she has worked on a range of construction projects across numerous sectors to varying values and scope. Her experience spans site management on medium scale London projects to producing winning sophisticated technical design insurance claims as the project commercial lead.

Candace is proficient in forensic analysis and has an innate understanding of the intricate relationships crossing the multitudes of complex construction records. She has practical working knowledge of the various standard forms of contract in JCT and NEC, delivered detailed records of quantum schedules and been instrumental in the successful outcomes of both adjudication and Court proceedings, for both advance and defence.

In 2021, Candace was awarded the Special Recognition Certificate for her achievement and contributions to the industry by The London Region Construction Training Group.

In her spare time, Candace is a regular theatregoer and cinephile, who enjoys spending her time keeping fit and dabbling in mixology (which we suspect involves cocktails rather than sound systems).
