Ciarán Kennedy

Consultant

Biography

Ciarán Kennedy comes from a civil engineering and project planning background, with experience across marine, flood defence, and building projects. Having worked closely with clients, design teams, and main contractors on tender, ECI, and live projects, he has developed a strong understanding of the key drivers and common challenges in complex construction environments.

Prior to joining Tudor Rose, Ciarán held senior planning and delivery roles on high-value projects including MoD dock refurbishment works and multiple Environment Agency MIOS schemes. His earlier career also encompassed project management and site engineering in the private sector, where he led high-rise residential and commercial developments, specialising in RC frame and groundworks packages.

Ciarán pursued a PhD in geotechnical engineering, which enhanced his ability to analyse complex problems and present findings in a clear, accessible way. This advanced technical knowledge has been particularly valuable in forensic planning and delay analysis, especially with a significant proportion of his claims work arising from geotechnical issues.

Ciarán is highly proficient in project planning and controls tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, @Risk and Cemar, with extensive experience in programme development, monitoring, and change management. He applies structured programme management and change control processes to ensure programmes and claims remain robust and defensible.

In his spare time Ciarán enjoys spending time with family, swimming, or going on a nice long drive.
