James is an experienced chartered civil engineer specialising in delay analysis. He has over twenty years’ experience in the planning and delivery of major civil engineering projects including extensive new build rail, highway, airports and building projects. James has experience in managing the planning function on major civils projects as well as delivering project control solutions. As a director of the business, James leads the forensic delay/planning team at Tudor Rose.
James has held key planning roles in consultancy, client and main contractor organisations. He has significant experience in both the preparation and defence of claims for extension of time under NEC contracts. Prior to moving into dispute resolution and project planning, James trained as a civil engineer specialising in highway design.
James is an expert user of Primavera P6 and competent user of other recognised industry planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Acumen Fuse, Primavera Risk and excel He uses this experience to provide planning masterclass training to main contractors.
When not analysing project delays, James can be found rambling about the countryside or enjoying a game of cricket.
