Jamie is an experienced construction planner, with over 10 years’ experience working on site for UK contractors and clients. For the past 5 years Jamie has been working in expert advisory and as an expert witness. His background includes technical expertise in the management and analysis of live projects and strategic portfolios, gaining practical experience across infrastructure, building, and civils sectors.
Jamie has acted as a delay expert in major infrastructure disputes. He has completed the Bond Solon expert witness training and the Construction Law and Dispute Resolution MSc at Kings College, London. In his capacity as a delay expert, he is experienced in all forms of delay analysis. Supported by practical experience, Jamie is able to determine criticality without sole reliance on programming software.
He has supported parties in adjudication, arbitration, and litigation, and has been retained by clients and main contractors to give advice on delay claims and extension of time applications. He has also supported contractors and clients during the submission and review of clause 32 and 62 programmes under NEC3 and NEC4, providing strategic insight from practical experience.
Jamie has acted as expert in delay-in-start-pp claims involving the analysis of indemnifiable delays for insured parties during construction. He has a broad dispute resolution experience and a detailed understanding of the NEC suite and other major standard forms of contract, underpinning his growing expertise as an expert witness.
Jamie is a sports nut. He loves cricket, rugby, football and hockey. If he is not playing, he is watching on the TV.
