Joe is a Quantity Surveyor with over nine years’ experience across expert witness services, rail infrastructure, utilities, civil engineering and telecommunications. He holds an MSc in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution from King’s College London, a BSc (Hons) from Glasgow Caledonian University and an Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence from Legal Experience Training.
His professional skills include claim preparation, quantum assessment, contract administration and the negotiation of accounts and claims. He has experience drafting contracts and subcontracts, assessing financial liabilities following termination, preparing and negotiating final accounts, and reviewing contractual claims, with significant experience of NEC contracts. He has also led meetings focused on risk reduction and claims management.
Joe combines commercial and legal knowledge with practical construction experience, providing clear and commercially focused advice throughout the contract lifecycle, from contract preparation and claims through to final settlement.
When he is not working, Joe enjoys playing golf, sea swimming and the cinema.
