Biography

Robert has over fifty years’ experience in the global engineering and construction industry including extensive experience of planning and programming matters.  Over his long career, Robert has held a wide variety of engineering roles in relation to large scale infrastructure, building, and power generation projects.

Drawing on his broad and varied industry experience, Robert now specialises in the analysis of delay and disruption of complex projects as part of the production of independent expert reports for use in litigation, arbitration, adjudication and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.

As well as assisting other experts in the production of their reports, Robert has been appointed as delay expert and has given oral evidence in arbitration in Iceland.

Robert is familiar with all recognised forms of delay analysis and is experienced in the use of project management software including P3, P6, Power Project and Microsoft Project.

Robert has experience of planning and programming under different forms of contract including JCT, FIDIC, NEC, ICE, GC Works, IChemE, MF/1, and bespoke forms of contract.

In addition to being a highly experienced Civil Engineer, Engineering Surveyor, Auditor and Delay Analyst, Robert has also given lectures in mathematics, surveying and technology.

Outside of Tudor Rose, Robert has interests in MTB, dragon boat racing, scuba diving, sailing, shooting and travel both at home and abroad.
