Biography

With many years’ experience in planning and scheduling of construction projects, Yassmine has worked both in the UK and Middle East. She acquired diverse planning and scheduling experience on a range of complex projects. Starting as an apprentice civil engineer, she worked her way to planning lead for a £1 billion- complex office project in King’s Cross, central London. During her career, she has worked on projects across a range of infrastructure and built environment sectors.

Yassmine has an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, MSc in Construction Management and GMICE accreditation. She has a strong knowledge of the conditions of UK JCT, NEC & ICE contracts and the legal obligations of parties. She also understands appropriate approaches to be adopted in relation to project risk management under the NEC and JCT suite of contracts.

Yassmine took part in developing the master programme for a £1 billion mixed use development in Battersea and the refurbishment of the aeronautics and mechanical department at a university. As consultant planner, she was responsible for the preparation of the initial programmes on several infrastructure projects. These include aviation, water systems and rail. Other experience includes a new laboratory in South West England, renovation of a historic 200-room hotel and an 82 storey office building in London.

In her spare time, Yassmine is kept busy with Tennis tournaments and travelling the world!
